there are quite a few varieties of bees which visit the flowers in my yard on a regular basis; this is one of the more common ones.
tricky to grab a shot like this, since they really do like to hit the flowers pretty quickly, and with a macro lens, as soon as they move, they disappear into the bokeh. |
